Automatic reminders are off unless the administrator turns them on for a bill. A payment due date is required. Copied bills start with no due date and reminders off, so an old schedule cannot carry into a new month by accident.
Reminders are sent around 9:00am on days 1, 3 and 7 after the due date. If BillCircle was temporarily unavailable, it sends one reminder when service resumes instead of sending several at once.
Confirmed payments stop reminders. If the resident has reported the full remaining payment and it is waiting for you to check, BillCircle waits. If only part has been reported, reminders can continue because part of the balance has not yet been reported.
Each reminder goes privately to the resident on WhatsApp. BillCircle will not send more than one payment reminder to the same resident for the same property on the same day.
You can still send a private reminder yourself from Payments. If BillCircle has already sent an automatic reminder that day, the manual reminder will not send another one, and vice versa.
Residents pay the community's nominated payment account directly. BillCircle does not receive, hold or distribute community contributions. A payment report is not counted as received until the administrator checks the community account and confirms it.
